I know this isn't an Amorphophallus as the leaves are different. can anyone ID it for me?

This was the very first tuberous aroid I ever grew (I was a teen then, back in the day . . .). I understand that with mulching they are hardy up to Virginia or maybe even further north.

Sometimes they bloom but mostly they just get those beautiful leaves and they are really pretty.
That is why I was so afraid, These are not mulched.
this one I will carry in, ne bulb. It is amorphophallas riverivi voodoo (I think, that is tag, just don't know if I spelled it right) What kind of soil do you use.??
