'Black Cardinal' bloom has opened.

My 'Black Cardinal' plant is technically 3 individuals, and 2 of them have buds at the same time, just noticed!!:



And forgot to say before, Kurt, these Philos keep individual leaves for a very long time, years. Mine has only lost a few to attrition, but quite a few to sunburn. Be careful & no direct sun is needed (or, apparently appreciated, even first thing in the morning for just a few minutes in March!)

I saw a huge 'Black Cardinal' at a grocery store the other day. I did well not taking it home with me. I don't want to know what the price tag said.

I admit, I totally splurged (for me.) Mine was $20, twice my usual limit for a plant. No regrets about this one! If you have a weak moment of price-checking, pls share what it says!

I want to venture at between $30-40 due to how much more expensive grocery store plants seem to be and it was huge (about three feet across at least).

Unfortunately it sits above the produce in an unreachable area... Which makes me think now, I wonder if it's even for sale... Next time I go there I'll try and take a gander. At the very least, I'll take a picture.

I have a few philos but no recent pictures of them right now. Yesterday I ordered a philodendron eurbancens and it is supposed to be here in the next couple weeks. I think I spelled the name wrong, lol. Philos and pothos are my favorite houseplants over anything else. Oh by the way, hi purple and everyone else!

Brasil in the middle behind my jars of new cuttings of Swedish ivy and Bolivian Jew( I love them! Thank you Tiffany!) On the left of Brazil is marble queen pothos and on the right of Brasil is glacier pothos. I love my philos and pothos.
