I agree, Sweet Goldoni is really nice. I've been watching for a red with a pattern eye for some time, but it's a bit pricey for me. Guess I'll keep working in that direction with a few crosses each year. Hunters Point is pretty, too. Love deep burgundy red blooms with watermarks.

I agree way to pricey.
I have seen some of your red patterned seedlings, they are great!
I bought some possibly red patterned crosses and they will bloom next spring!

I spoke to Greg today and ordered 'Sweet Goldini'. He told me they rarely sell out of new intro's but he thought this would be one of the few.

I want Greater Good so bad I can taste it ( GO GATORS). I have been trying to make an orange and blue daylily forever, with horrible luck, mainly because blue and orange, make muck, when it comes to color. IF, this flower looked like this, I would gladly pay 250 for it, problem is, have these pictures have been enhanced , I guess Ill have to wait till spring and run out and take a look at it.

Pam, that would have been my second choice. Both are so unique in color. I may still break down and purchase that one as well.

@Char I just got Dan Trimmer's catalog in today, and he has a daylily called Racing Time and it has a great red patterned eye!
It's also cheaper than sweet goldoni.
His website isn't updated yet.

Oh wow, can't wait to see it!! Maybe the catalog will come today. Smiling
Hope those red pattern crosses produce some nice pattern seedlings for you next year. I think I may have some to bloom... can't remember what I planted this year and will need to look at my bed map. There were just over 10,000 seeds in the fridge and I only plant around 3000. Deciding what to plant and what not to is one job I really don't like. I want to plant them all!
