I just noticed that the random pictures which were on the right upper part of the screen have been moved to the left side of the page and down the page. We all have opinions and here is mine. I preferred them on the right side. Sometimes late at night I would keeping hitting on ATP and new pictures would come up. I would enlarge ones that looked interesting. Now that isn't at all convenient. Anyone else notice this and care?

The main problem here is that the homepage is a real mess. With the random pictures on the right, that meant there were 4 columns. That's just too much except for full size screens, so something had to be done.

So I uploaded the change that reduced it to "only" 3 columns and I had to find a different place for the pictures.

Further changes to the homepage are planned. I want it to flow smoothly and look right on all screen sizes. More and more people access the site using phones and tablets and so many columns just doesn't work on those devices.

I liked the right side as well but I'm sure we'll adapt and get used to the left side, Paul.

I occasionally access the site via my phone and I agree that it is difficult, so I welcome the changes.

Did this change just happen within the past hour or two? I like it a lot!

I used to have a "smarter" phone LOL but I'm so challenged with technical stuff and got really frustrated with trying to swipe the screen to find a number and make a call and could never get to the number I wanted so I chucked that phone into a kitchen drawer and bought a cheap little flip phone a couple of years ago; no texting, no internet etc., but anyway .... I love the new look and layout of the home page! Lovey dubby

Dave...we all feel a little ownership rightly or not. Another reason I liked the ease of it being on the right side is that as I clicked through the pictures and liked some I would give them a thumbs-up. Is there a quick way to scroll through the random pictures now?

Lin, yep, just updated it an hour ago or so.

Paul, the only thing that has changed for you here is that the random pictures are on the left instead of the right. So they are still there just moved to the left.

That's not a bug. Every article has to have an image and we didn't have an image of an apron so we stuck a pretty flower in there.

But to get the pictures to change I would just hit on ATP in the past to refresh the page. If I need to do it the same way now I will need to scroll down the page each time which isn't nearly as convenient. Shrug! Lazy here is guess....

Green Grin! LOL, I could have sworn there used to be a picture with an apron; not one I supplied with the tip though. Goes to show how my memory is getting ... Rolling on the floor laughing

I'm definitely going to give some thinking about this. But until then, I have made a special page that you can load and see the random stuff. I even made the pictures bigger on that page since there's more room.

Refresh all you like to see new random stuff. Smiling

Well I'm sorry to say on my iphone it is really cooky. Sure, text is bigger. But it is overlapping columns. And I gotta scroll forever to get to the bottom. Hmmm this will take some time to get used to
