That is also how it looks on my Nook in portrait, but it behaves well in landscape which is usually what I use. No complaints, just an FYI.

Just a reminder, on at least some devices you can choose a mobile or desktop view. The mobile seems better on some sites on some devices, not so much on others. Best to try both and see which you like better.

Karen, are you able to do that with ATP? I tried yesterday, downloaded two browsers with that capability from the app store.. The ATP site over-ruled full site mode on both.

I'm using Chrome on my Android phone (LG Volt), and I get that option when I open ATP, hit the lower right menu button. One option is "request desktop site". On my Kindle Fire HDX tablet, using the Silk browser, I open ATP, use the menu button on the right, and I get options for "request another view". If I choose that I can then pick "auto" or "desktop" or "mobile"

Poor Dave, I'm waiting for someone to ask him to create an ATP mobile app. One for Apple, another for Android...

So just to clarify, you actually get the desktop site when you request it? I have the option offered too but when I select it I still get the mobile site.

I don't think there is a desktop version and mobile option yet. As I understand it the updated layout is the only option currently

Jennifer, some browsers allow you to choose regardless of whether the site offers it. From what I read yesterday the updated Safari does, but I haven't updated mine yet. So I downloaded Dolphin and Puffin browsers from the app store but selecting desktop still gives me the mobile site. Ditto for Chrome on my android phone.

Now that I check again my phone gives me the mobile version (2 columns) even if I request desktop. But I like that on my phone. My 8" Kindle Fire HDX gives me the desktop version (3 columns) no matter which I request. My each version looks good on the device.

Uh oh. I haven't changed anything on my computer, but the new banner is looking weird.

Thumb of 2014-10-28/woofie/845b37

See that little bit on the right? Belongs on the left? Could this have to do with the number of columns?

No, it's just a particularly narrow banner and that means it's repeating.

Actually, I found a bug that wasn't moving the banner over, so the first 225px were being obscured by the logo. I fixed it and all should be well now.

Hi @Dave - I have an android phone and use the chrome browser and hit the ATP site quite frequently. I was really enjoying the new mobile layout but since you added the profile option I can't get the mobile code to load anymore. It always shows the full desktop layout on my phone....

Just a heads up.

yep - looks good again..

Hitting that plant database while I'm out somewhere and there are plants for sale is sooo fun. I think I'll devote and entire Saturday to doing this! Rolling my eyes.

@Dave - are you aware of a way to force my tablet browser to use the mobile layout? The layout on my phone is real convenient, I'd like my tablet to use that layout as well. Thanks...

What kind of tablet is it? Do you know the screen resolution?
