I want to begin by thanking all of you for posting so many spectacular photos in this forum. This is the forum I come to when I just want to relax and look at beautiful photos, so imagine my surprise when I saw that the Containers category is one of the contest categories with the fewest entries.

So this is a message to @foraygardengirl, @ge1836, @kingconeflower, @4susiesjoy, @Paul2032, @webesemps, and so many others: If you haven't already submitted entries in the containers category, please choose your five favorite photos and submit them.

Also, if you have containers of cacti and succulents, please submit them too (in the Cacti and Succulents category). That's another category that's light on entries right now.

Again, congratulations on making this forum such a delight!

Is "containers" where one would put pics of house plants (...that aren't C/S?) Potted tropicals would go in containers or tropicals? I looked at this but wasn't sure where some of my pics might go. Is the limit 5 total, or 5 per category?

The limit is 5 per category, as Lynn said, and the categories are overlapping in some cases, so that a photo of a Ficus houseplant, for instance, could be eligible for entry in your choice of Containers, or Perennials, or Trees and Shrubs. It's your choice. If you choose the Containers category, it's best to have the container showing in the picture. It's not essential to show the container, but I prefer to see it, and I think others also do.

That's right. The judging will begin on 11/8, so the photos will have to be submitted before that.

OK, it didn't say for sure (or I could have overlooked it, especially since I was looking for that... ;) Like looking for sunglasses that are on top of the head?

I don't think it does say for sure; it just lists the date the judging starts. Dave's constantly reviewing the entries as they come in, however, to fix any sideways or upside-down photos or any other obvious errors, so a long interval between submission and judging won't be required.

Dave is so good. That has to be a lot of work. I looked last night there are over thousands of pics submitted so far.

Another Question. Which code do I use if my pics are in photobucket?

I'm not sure I understand the question. Is jpg a code? If so, then that's the one you want.

Photobucket has a couple of codes

I click on the code and it looks like this

and when I submit the picture is posted like this...

Okay I tried all the codes. I will probably have to copy them to my hard drive and post. It does not work with Photobucket.

I can do the big one but it does not recognize any of the codes that Photobucket offers.
