Are Coleus Plants Considered Tropicals?

I need to know ASAP whether I can submit any of my Coleus pics into the ATP Tropicals Category Photo Contest. I'm pretty sure that they're hardy to zone 10, so wouldn't that make them tropicals?

What constitutes a plant as a tropical?

Or, should I be directing my questions to the Coleus forum instead?

Agreed. If the container is showing in a pic, container category is an option.

Tropical plants are those that come from tropical locations and can't survive cold weather.

They're definitely tender. With origins in Southeast Asia & Malaysia, I'd say they are tender tropical perennials.
