The Garden club of Austin had their summer flower show last weekend. I entered some of my plants and thought I'd share them here.

Our huge old copper fire pit that I drilled holes in and filled with succulents. the base was too big to fit on the table. It received Best in Section.

I was hoping I would get to see your blue ribbons. WOW! That sink is a riot! You have lovely cuttings and containers. Very different stuff than usually seen.Well done and deserved!

Thanks Anna...this was our only show this year (we usually have a fall show also), so I just threw in what was blooming. I received 37 blues, 12 reds, and.....2 yellows (for "grooming"....had leaves in the pots...never got a yellow before ). I was the Sweepstakes Winner for most blues and received the Horticultural Excellence Award. Now I can let the backyard go to pot for the rest of the summer, I guess! It's really too hot to play out there after 10 AM.
