Since I bought or got in trades most of those I wanted on my list last year, my wish list so far this year isn't too bad, but theres lots of time for making it longer nodding as I haven't seen the new intros yet. I haven't decided yet on the Tempo Two intros. I have to study those for a while yet. And maybe Brad has some pictures of them that will help put me over the edge a bit. (Hint, hint) Hilarious!

Uncharted Sea Schreiners 2011
Zero Hour Hester 2012
Contrarian Hester 2012
Ben's Finale Hager 2009
Twilight Of the Gods Chun Fan 2007
Midnight Embers Nicodemous 2014
Electric Candy Blyth 2010
Typical Tom Burseen 2011

Only 8 so far! But we can add more Whistling

I know some of you guys have wish lists longer then my arm, so Fess up and share your lists. Maybe we can find some help for you with trading for the ones you want. Sticking tongue out

Oh, Tom, my wish list(s).....
I am still on a quest for a really blue iris and from the blue iris thread here I decided on
Breakers
Bugle Boy Blues
Coastal Mist
Monet's Blue
Alien Mist and one older blue that I have been wanting Fair Dinkum

Then a few luminatas
Drew a Royal Flush
Dude
Glo-Ray Hallelujah
God's Handiwork
and Synergy

I had to have a few more dragons
Gentle Dragon
Gold Dragon - this one has horns

Ones that I lost and want to replace
Fleabitten Butterscotch
Brown Lasso
Honky Tonk Hussy

And then just because I want them
Sugar Magnolia
Nebraska Big Red - sounds like a good red
T Rex - supposed to be big blooms on big stalks and i'm gonna see for myself
That's just for TB's with Brown Lasso thrown in for good measure now for the SDB's oops this site does not have enough room....... well, any I don't have with about 20 or so leading the charge.... I will post them later as I will have to shorten the list. lol

I am trying to keep the number of TB's that I order down so I will have more room for the little guys. However, I do get the 'me toos' when I read other peoples lists or visit other gardens. I have been really good so far and keep reminding myself that I do NOT want/need every iris I see with the exception of my dwarf list. Just that list alone indicates that I have a real iris problem. And if I ordered all that are on the list I would have a big financial problem.

Go crazy at random, I like that! Rolling on the floor laughing
Bonnie, sometimes I think I want one, but when I re-check them in the spring, I wonder, What was I thinking? and I drop some, add others, and it's always a work in progress. A couple of mine are carry overs from last year that I couldn't find, so they will probably stay there until I get them. I can help you with Breakers, and Coastal Mist, so remember to remind me next spring.

I have yet to make a list. Having said that, I too like "Ben's Finale" and I will start with that one. Most of the ones I put on the list will be older (like five to ten years old) as they are more affordable. Here is a short list off the top of my head!

Ben's finale
Go West
Autumn Explosion
Glacier Point
Fantasy Ride
Arctic Burst
Magic Quest
Micro Burst
Molten Flame
Bright and Sunny
Gettysburg Address
Gettysburg Sunset
American Maid
Old Renegade
Prince Igor

And of course, any Sterling Innerst cultivar that I am missing from my collection.

(this was supposed to be a short list!!!!) *Blush*

The funny thing is I have lists of cultivars I want at my work place. They are things I like from several other folks here on ATP as well as from growers like Rick Tasco & Roger Duncan (Superstition Iris Garden). Making a list is easy. Culling it down to an affordable one is very hard. I was able to get a lot of really nice irises this year due to trading with you good folks (or in some cases just sending postage!)

Me too Greg! That is why I have more than one list by springtime. Over the winter I revisit my lists many times and make list of must haves, really want, want, etc. The problem is that sometimes I can find one or two only from each vendor. Then I have to go to my next list to make sure I get my moneys worth for my shipping. Life is hard.

Sugar Magnolia is gorgeous. white and pink and looks better in person, er flower, than it does in photos. I forgot to add Main Street. I cant find it anywhere. it may have been registered and not introduced. hmmmmmmm

There is one absolute, I am getting no matter what, and that is Bruneau Jasper (Pinkston). It is the fragrant red sister of Owyhee Desert and I love Owyhee.

Others on my list:
Marilyn Naylor & Dan Laing by Spoon (neither have database pics yet Sad )
Microburst - a IB from Tasco
Thundery - a BB from Blyth, and considering Arthouse and Broome Sunset
Ice For Brice - yep, another Bursteen
Wonders Never Cease - Black ( Lovey dubby )
Trial By Fire - Ghio
Double Chocolate - Painter

And definitely both Man's Best Friend and Inky Icon.

I am sure others will catch my fancy, and what I actually end up with next year will be totally different than what I put here. Sighing!
Except for Bruneau - that one is a shoo-in.

My list is too long to print.. and if I don't get the majority of what I bought this year... well..

There were a few historics I tried to get the past two years that were knocked off my orders. So I will order these early.
Aphrodite
Apple Valley
Cashmere
Paragon
Pinnacle
Pink Magnolia

...and Daughter of Stars because I've been kicking myself everytime someone posts a picture of it's rebloom.

...and... from Kasperek, I'd like to add more variegated foliage, and one broken..
Zebra Night
Zebra Bluez
maybe Orangutan Orange

I think the question at this point is what will be getting the "heave ho" to make room for more?
I'm not too fond of Tiger Honey, and have grown tired of Spiced Tiger.. but think there may be a possibility down the road to make a broken color bed. It's hard for me to throw anything away Hilarious!

If your list is too long, just put in your top 15 or 20! Then re-do it the next month, and the next. If the same ones keep coming on top, you know which are the top priority, if some don't alway show up, they get sent down the line. nodding
