This week I had to dig out one of my two yellow rose shrubs. Want to put in another yellow and pondering choices. What is your favorite yellow? What makes it a favorite?

Hi Debra. My favorite yellow grafted Hybrid Tea rose is Midas Touch. It is disease resistant (no blackspot) and survives zone 7 winters. It takes the heat and high humidity here in the summertime with no adverse effects. This healthy rose is fragrant and is a bright cheerful yellow - it may knock your socks off! It does not fade in color quickly and when it does, it's still a nice pleasing yellow tone. I am including 2 photos. Best of luck to you in your quest. - Margie, Long Island

I may have others, but can't remember. All of these roses have survived at least 2 winters here in zone 5. Can't really tell you much about blackspot as I rarely ever get it here. But I think my favorite has to be Golden Masterpiece. Smells wonderful, good vase life, not too thorny, doesn't shatter, doesn't freckle with age.
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...

Sunsprite stays clean all year long, and it is one of the first to start blooming, and is by far the last to stop. I agree with Toni on all she listed with the exception of Ch Ching and Golden Masterpiece, as I don't grow those. Graham Thomas, Sparkle and Shine, and Walking on Sunshine are all good too.
