Thread OP

Hi,
I live in Beausejour Manitoba Canada where we have very cold winters and unpredictable varying temps in summer. A 2B Zone.
This intermediate iris grows 12" high. Its prolific and hardy. Any guesses on it's name?

I could give you some guesses. Do you have close up photos of the bloom?

A search in the ATP data base with Size (SDB), color (purple /white), and form (plicata" will give you a starting point.....probably a dozen, or more listed for comparison....and Welcome! , by the way !

Welcome! mveldman! That sure is a nice garden photo! It looks like what ever variety it is, that it's happy in your climate. I have no idea though. Good luck.

Welcome Mveldman!! Welcome! If you have any close-ups, especially of the beard then we can keep an eye out for it. You never know when one of us might run across a similar iris. Sorry I can't be of any help right now. Your garden looks lovely. Come back and visit us! Smiling

If you are on Facebook, you might also post the photograph on the Median Iris Society page and see if someone there can help.
