I was in Abilene, TX last week and collected seeds from plants growing on the field fences. Abilene is 50 miles west of my location and I never see Old Man's Beard growing here, though I've always seen it growing south and west of my location toward Austin and San Antonio. I really like it when it's in all its fluffy grandeur. I haven't found any major negative for me not to plant some seeds, but I thought I'd ask here before I get something going I'll come to regret. Thanks.

Donald,

I haven't grown it, but I've heard about it. I've been told "it usually climbs along the ground or over shrubs", so I guess it depends on where you site it and if you can manage it.

Smiles,
Lyn
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.
