Million Pollinator Garden Challenge Birds Butterflies Bee Lover Hummingbirder Container Gardener
NW Georgia, near Blue Ridge, photos taken mid May. I'm thinking Whirled Rosinweed (Silphiium trifoliatum) but not sure. This is the only picture I have so it may be tough to say for sure what plant it is.

Possibly a senecio.. Or other ragwort?

Flowers look too small for Silphium.

Thanks stone! You've pointed me in another direction and I do believe it might be either Senecio or possibly Packera of some sort ... off to google for more images.
