For some reason I am seeing "security warning. do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely" on EVERY page I go to. No...I TRUST ATP and always have. Why am I seeing this all of a sudden and how can I make it stop??? Perhaps it's because the "beast" and I are both dinasaures? Shrug!

ATP is an encrypted site but if an image or something else is sent unencrypted then your browser might give you that message. You can safely ignore it.

I would like to see a screenshot of the warning, though.

Rolling on the floor laughing Oh Ginger you crack me up.
Sometimes I know that feeling. Big Grin

What kind of computer do you have?
If a regular type, not a Mac, you should have a key on your keyboard, maybe on the right side, just above the Backspace key, that has PrtScr. Just key that one and then open Paint. You will find Paint in the list found when you click on Start (bottom left side of the task bar).
When Paint opens to a black page, just right click your mouse and choose Paste. It will copy what is on your screen.

If you enter the security message into Google there are quite a number of results for this problem which seems to be primarily/exclusively an Internet Explorer 8 one, is that what you're using? There are instructions on these pages for how to turn it off, it's in the security settings for the browser. There is, I think, also a way to say which site is a trusted one and thus stop the warning for individual sites but keep it for others where needed.

I don't use IE so can't help much more than that but I do get a warning from the browser I do use, Firefox, when accessing ATP from my Windows 7 laptop. What it says is "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page", then there is a button to click for "Allow". I don't bother clicking "Allow" because the page loads normally regardless. It's not a new thing, I was getting that before the site changes so it likely isn't relevant to Ginger's problem.

Thanks, Dave, I didn't realize it was an accessibility setting but knew it was set in the preferences. I never bothered to change it because it rarely appears except on ATP and I just ignore it as it's at the top of the screen and doesn't interfere with the page viewing. I've unchecked the box now. Thank You!

Dave should be able to help you Ginger. @dave

But I would change to Firefox for your internet browser. I had all kinds of problems on IE.

I'd follow the advice above and get the latest version of Firefox, but failing that the following is a recommended solution for the IE8 problem on several help sites. Click on Tools, then Internet Options, then Security, then Trusted Sites, then Sites, then Add. Then enter the atp web address. Another alternative is to disable the alert altogether but that's not really advisable.

Hilarious! Whistling Ginger I am using the computer I bought in 2005 and I am also on XP. I only recently went off of dial-up so believe me I can relate. Right now the computer is dying. My CPU usage is all over the place, right now running just above 0 so having trouble answering you as quickly as I would like. Crying I also used IE till recently. Use FF now but not real happy with it.

Sue...ATP is listed as a trusted site. Guess I'll just live with it.

Linda...I got my beast in 05 too. When ATT was out this week I was pretty much told that my location is pretty much out of luck for any "good stuff"
