Hi Annie,
Just a quick note to say that I am really enjoying your blog posts. They so epitomize the life of a gardener, and my days and thoughts run very similar to yours. The other things that catch my eye are the garden areas that are mentioned - the Storybook garden, the Pine Gap, the Casey Cave bed, "Isthmus" bog garden... such delightful names and fuel for the imagination.

Thanks so much Aspen! I am absolutely the world's (possibly the universe's) worst photographer, so I try to note the details of my garden work in my blog so I can have some idea of what I did. I am always astounded that anyone else reads it *LOL*....I always suspect they are psychology majors working on their master's thesis "Pathological Nature Obsession and Garden Mania in Menopausal Women." *HA*

Ha Ha, I can relate on all counts - bad photographer and Garden Mania in Menopausal Women. Last year for my birthday (52, hence being able to relate on age), I bought a nice Nikon DSLR camera thinking that having a good camera would solve my photography woes. News flash, it isn't the camera LOL. Another thing that I found interesting in your posts was the concept of a stumpery. I had never even heard of such a thing before, so I spent an hour or two happily googling about it. Pretty cool.

Hi Terri, no the camera is not the problem for me either.... No matter what camera I try, I never seem to get it right. I even tried one with an "anti-shake" feature and my pics STILL come out all blurry. My sister says it's the same thing that makes battery powered watches stop running after just a few weeks...me, my sister, and my mom all have that problem. My sis says we have some sort of "energy field." I say we are just poor photographers and too cheap to buy good quality watch batteries (HA*
