The new growth is so exciting to see. It will sit like that through the winter, just waiting for spring to set it into action. Thanks for the photos Julia. It sure does look like a match. Now to see the blooms from both Linda's and your plants in the spring. That would clinch the ID.

Wow, that is quite a list of must haves. Now on my way to look at that site. Green Grin!

valleylynn, springcolor
while looking around today look what I found at sedumgardens.net
checking on this, maybe this is mine Sedum floriferum 'Winter Mahogany'® mahogany/reddish winter color, mine is this color.

instead of Sedum sichotense 'Creeping Stonecrop' orangy red winter color.
To me, mine looks more like Winter Maghogany as far as color and cluster shape (thicker fuller)
what do you all think?

to me this one looks like the NO ID I have.

Sent email to this company today wanting their location besides middle Tn. I suspect the McMinnville area. I can go there. Hurray!

Found them Liberty Rd., Fairview, Tn.

Keep a monthly photo record of it, so we can do a comparison in each season. It sure is a beautiful plant.

Here are some great photos for:
Phedimus kamtschaticus, Phedimus kamtschaticus floriferus : http://www.sedumphotos.net/v/s... Two pages.

And Phedimus sichotensis: http://www.sedumphotos.net/v/s...

P. sichotensis seems to have longer and narrower leaves than most of the P. kamtschaticus.
