Gorgeous, Tom. Each year I look at the new blooms and think they can get no better then along comes another crop of beauties the next year. Amazing, isn't it.

I can dream!

Tom. Daring Deception...wow!

Bonnie we have visited his gardens quite a few times in Oregon and he is a awesome guy very friendly, he comes from Canada and he started Hybridizing there. I know for a period of time he was partnered with Paul Black and lived in Oklahoma hence the name Mid America Gardens they both moved from there to his current home in Salem which is one of my favorite places to visit it is incredibly landscaped with Conifers, shrubs and small collector trees. There garden is the host main garden for AIS Convention in 2015 or at least they had the largest display for it.

After visiting I tried to built a little piece of it here at home in Iowa but there really is nothing like Mid America there collection of plants is World Class I highly recommend visiting it one can spend a lot of hour's walking it and enjoying there landscaping . I know Paul is now retired and just Hybridize's and Thomas maintains the property and plants all by himself he is a very talented and we will have some really fun new colors and patterns coming from them in the future years. He is a plant lover like the rest of us and after meeting him you can tell he really Love's what he does. I was in awe of some of his seedlings this spring his work with pinks with blue beards is really impressive. I will have lot's of pictures to share of his work when Cabin Fever sets in Smiling Look up his mid america Facebook page he has lots of pictures from this spring of seedlings and plants that will be introduced next year it is Eye Candy !!

I added these from him this year was really hard to choose which ones to pic to buy after visiting but Loved all of these.

Seasons In The Sun is already on my want list (yes, due to a Brad picture). Now I may have to add Land Down Under and Polar Mist.....

Like Jan, I will have to let the price come down a bit though. Sighing!

Thank You, Brad, for the wonderful information on the hybridizers and their gardens. I am glad you could add the personal touch about their creations and who they are. Your photos are wonderful as well and if you have any of their new creations to post - when the winter wearys really set in - of irises that are blue with pink beards....... well, needless to say they would go to the top of my list! I love the overall garden shots you have posted in the past. It encouraged me to add some dwarf evergreens to my patch. Not many but they do bring that extra dimension to a garden.
