Maiden,

Thank you so much for your kind words too! You will really love ATP and I look forward (as I know others do) of seeing you around the forums that you find of interest ... and of course look forward to viewing more lovely photos of your interesting carnivorous plants.

I wonder if there'd be enough interest for a specific forum for Carnivorous Plants? If enough folks were interested I'm sure Dave would create a forum. I've always been curious about them myself ... purchased a little something or other ... oh, it just came to me, a Venus Flytrap but I didn't keep it alive for long because I placed it on the deck in the hot, hot summer sun and it fried. Sad

Like you, I killed my very first dionaea, and my first nepenthes too, by lack of knowledge.

Here is a article i wrote for a magazine and a website. If you want to give another try to these great plants, this will help you :)

For the Carnivorous Plants Forum, it might be a good idead, but i think we are just a few cps growers around here, if im not alone ! Maybe the best option is just writing a couple ideas about cps caring and growing.

Maiden, thank you so much for the link to such an informative article.
Are there any of the sundews that can grow outdoors year round in the Pacific Northwest, zone 8?
