If two orange species lilies were crossed, I'd say no, with 99.5% surety. But if two orange hybrids cross, who knows what unmanifested color genes might be lurking in those chromosomes. It must be quite evident that Lilium color genetics are much more complex than that of roses, or there would be a heck of a lot more variation in rose coloration and patterns, especially since their breeding has a much longer history. Don't forget that lilies may also carry multiple color blocking genes, too. But, I would still guess that an orange hybrid crossed with another orange hybrid would most likely produce some kind of orange hybrid.
It was interesting that when I crossed a yellow Lilium leichtlinii with an orange Lilium maculatum var. wilsonii, I came up with progeny that was all orange, and darker orange than the L. maculatum.
