Hi Marilyn, So glad you like the picture, was nothing compared to some of the other gorgeous pictures in the photo contest.

But you did enter, and did very well too. It is really special with all those rain drops.

Julia, I thought I recognized Grapetone!! ...but wasn' t sure with the wet coat... Loved the photo!

This was such a fun contest. Loved looking at everyone's pictures!!!!! Bev, I saw your succulent container picture, beautiful.

and a thank you very much to you, Julia. This contest sort of gave us all an adrenalin rush before having to settle into our homes nice and quietly, huh? Well, maybe not you cause you look like the busy type, right? and after tree-ing with Greg, not him either with all the relatives a-visiting...

I'm not the busy type more the homebody type. I'm hoping for a warm up, weather wise, so I can get out and weed a bit more. Marilyn, did you post pictures to the contest and Bev how many did you enter? I think I had about 4 or 5 entered I forgot what I submitted.

I entered 3 carnivorous plants, 5 containers of succulents, 2 semps and a Macro of Jovibarba in container.

I thought this photo was stunning. It took me a second to figure out what was hiding in the rain but even before I figured it out, I loved it!

When I post a photo it is with a bit of reluctance and used to illustrate a point. Maybe if I can get a better camera I might try next year.

You should not feel that way, post pictures Marilyn your photos are as good as anyones. My motto is if they are in focus it's a good picture.

for the encouragement. I will see what the spring brings. In the mean time I will continue to admire the many many great pictures you all have posted in the contest.

Julia, what an intriguing photo of S. 'Grapetone'. I love this photo for the feeling of mystery it gives me. Covered in sparkling jewels. Love it.
