Good choice to shoot through the trees. Rather than stopping the eye, it actually serves to draw you into it. Very nice.

Enchanting scene! love this picture--really neat composition with the light on the distant evergreen and field of purple thru the three trunks.
I am dying to know--is it lavender? Are those barkless trees alive or dead? Maybe that's a dumb question, but there is seeming to be a shade canopy from trees...what trees shed their bark and live on? please do tell @bootandall

Yes It Is Lavender, the farm is near my brothers place.
The trees are Eucalyptus and alot of the species do shed bark as noted, the trees are alive and well..

And it makes me feel like I am standing in that grove of trees and discovering a hidden treasure of beautiful blooms. Love it.
