Thank you, Tiffany. The photo was taken in 2008. My plan is to go with purple again for next year since it has never looked as good in subsequent years no matter what.colors I've tried.

it's a beautiful combination.
i love burgundy/purple stuff with chartreuse, but then find it very difficult to add flowers to it.
invariably more yellow/burgundy/purple works the best. and sometimes palest pink blush is well too.

Yes! I love more and more purple or lavender. Whenever I want to break up color groups in the garden it's always purple or violet that comes to the rescue.
