How do you move a message (quote) from one forum to another forum?

A thread? Just give me a link to the thread and tell me where you think it should be moved and I'll handle it.

Dave, I see people posting their or other's posts to other forums or to other threads. Those posts are in a box when moved to another site. It isn't that my post is in the "wrong" place, sometimes I just think a post is applicable to another thread or even another forum. I just wondered how people move those posts from one place to another.

Probably click on the word Quote and highlight it and copy/paste it to the thread in another forum ... at least that's the only way I know how to do it. I'm going to try it and see if it works.

Yep ... it worked! This is something I just posted on the November 2014 Backyard Bird thread and I just went back to it, clicked on Quote, highlighted the entire thing and pasted it here.

LOL, Copy/Past is about the only thing I remember how to do when it comes to computers. I used to take notes all the time to refer back to ... then it got so that I'd misplace my notes. I'm getting old.
