Marilyn, I don't hate you, however have no sympathy either! LOL It's snowing here now and the wind is biting cold, I'm staying by the wood stove. Good grief, November is way too soon to feel so done with winter. Eeeek, it's not even officially winter yet!

Neal, I'm not looking for or expecting sympathy....I'm feeling pretty lucky! But I do feel sympathy for you and everyone who is in the icy grips of winter. I'm sending warm sunny thoughts your way! Rolling my eyes.

Thank you, Kent. Smiling

Marilyn, maybe you could take a few photographs of the beach to post in February when the northerners are really suffering from cabin fever. Might help get through until warmer times. Big Grin

We had a high of 10 today, and high winds. Tonight when I was out feeding horses in the nasty stuff, I had to come in and warm up by the wood stove a couple of times. Then my neighbors feeling sorry for me came and helped me finish. How nice of them! Smiling It's already down to 6 degrees now that the sun has set. It is supposed to be back in the 40's in a week. I sure hope so! Just had a nice bowl of Chili to warm the insides! It's very warm in the house, but I'm still feeling chilled. It would be a good night for some hot chocolate for sure. Don't think I have any though Sad

I'm hoping it gets introduced. Liking that rusty pinkish beard, and those lines in the falls, and the color, and what's not to like! *Blush*

Interesting color. A little 'fluffy' for my taste in form.

As far as the tools go... I use a tool very much like what was described above and it's called a wing weeder. I don't think I could garden without it. It's one of my favorite tools. They make a long (to use standing-up) handle version and a short handle version. I don't use the long handle one , but love the short handle tool. It slices right through the soil. My favorite tools are the wing weeded, a digging claw, and a three to four inch thick piece of foam by about 24". The foam makes sitting on the ground a bit softer or I could kneel on it, and it just keeps my close a bit cleaner.

The other "tool" I use is a "pooper scooper and rake" makes cleaning up leaves and weeds easy on the muscles.

Wow! That one is over the top with ruffles- I love it! Kinda reminds me of those outfits clogging dance troupes used to wear. It also put me in mind of that tv evangelist lady with big lavender hair and lots of makeup, LOL.

Hilarious! Hilarious! Neal! Never heard of an iris compared to a purple haired evangelist before. Rolling on the floor laughing

I agree it has lots of ruffles, but the beard! And the soft look of the color is so nice.
