For large batches I'll put it in the oven at 200° in a roasting pan and stir it up about every half hour or so til all the pink crystals are gone. The key is keep an eye on it. I store mine in the metal tins sealed with tape.

Wanted to add that I've been using the same stuff for over 15 years now.

Would anyone believe that I am looking for a humidifier to buy because our house is too damp in the winter?? Blinking (thank goodness for Amazon)

I have a good-sized canister of silica gel that I bought some years ago with the intention of using it to dry flowers (which I never did "get around to") -- might as well use it for the seeds or my camera!

Wow, 200F is enough to regenerate silica gel? Thanks for telling me; I would have pushed as close to 250 as I could get. I bet that's one reason the same batch is till working for you: never over-baked.

200° works fine for me - and you do want to keep stirring it up.
