Have seen this plant in 2 MOBOT locations, the Butterfly House in a western St Louis suburb and in the Climatron at their main gardens in St Louis. Climate is maintained as tropical in both places.
It kind of looks like a Brugmansia...

It did to me too at first but the leaves don't match. Hope someone else can ID this, not familiar with all these jungle type tropical things but I sure do love them!
