Jo Ann, I love the avatar photograph. Lovey dubby

Tried Mauve Majesty and didn't care for it correctly. Have a different one put in-ground this year which struggled, but I must have done better with it because it started putting on foliage as Fall advanced. Looking forward to seeing what it does in Spring.

That Yucca is extensively used here in public plantings: municipal median strips, shopping centers, etc. Love the way it looks. Would not fit the sensibility of the other plants in my yard (and I avoid prickly ones), but it is beautiful for sure.

How prickly is it? Doesn't look as mean as real yucca, but that may be wishful thinking...

Not nearly as bad as real yucca, I'm just a weenie. Hilarious!

I got three the year before and put in pots and wintered in GH. It was a hard winter. I lost two. The third one was gorgeous and I cut lots of flowers then it died

Ah yes, I felt tender Alstroemeria may be challenging to overwinter. How much sun did yours get while they were blooming?

Mostly full sun. Hottest months I put under a tree and they got dappled sun. They were in pots.

Jo Ann, Neal my poppies are UP!! I planted them a few days after Christmas, I just couldn't wait any longer. Torrential rains 4-5 days after planting, germination less than a week after that. I have 3 different kinds. The site I want to plant the larkspur has an echinacea in the way so I have to dig that up first. This weather is cramping my style. Grumbling

Kabby, what kinds of Poppies did you sow? It always impresses me that those tiny babies are so tough.

Kabby, both of those types usually reseed themselves here. I love both!
