This is a foolproof way to force those beautiful and fragrant paperwhites successfully, without having them get leggy and fall over. They look so beautiful on a windowsill in the cold winter months.
I love the jolly look of paperwhites but am not fond of their cloying fragrance. I have an unheated side porch with half-windows on 3 sides facing east, south and west. I'm wondering if I could put some bulbs out there to enjoy from inside without clogging my nose up? I could also run a small space heater out there (and often do for the dog and cat in freezing weather) to keep it around 60-ish.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
