I get stuck in a rut planting containers. They always are full of bright flowers. I never think to do a wonderful planting like this!!! A woodland wonder.

i was very surprised when i saw it! somehow i only think of them as wild plants, but actually (apparently) many people grow them. i saw lots and lots in native garden plantings too in the NYBG in bronx - as perennials. couldn't get enough of them.
i find them very exotic. too bad that i did not take more pics: there were 2 containers with slightly different arrangements.
