I spent 5 hours in the yard blowing leaves to the front, mulching them with my mower, bagging them up and then spreading then in the flower beds. This is what I woke up to today. No one would ever believe I worked so hard!

If I wait a tad bit longer, maybe some wind will kick up and I will just have one BIG job on Sunday while the boys watch football? ...btw, this is just one of many trees but surely the prettiest!

Cheryl we are having the prettiest fall colors here in central Texas in years. The elms are golden. Is that what you are experiencing?

Yes, Carol. The early cold snap has brought us such wonderful tree color that we don't normally see in Houston. The leaves are dropping earlier, too. Usually I am blowing leaves out of my Santa's sleigh decoration. I think after this weekend, that tree will be naked so Santa can stay leaf-free this winter.
