A Peek into the "Lasagna Method"

I call it the Lasagna Garden. I started it in March 2009, not realizing it needed a year for the newspaper and compost to cure and decompose the sod beneath. This new garden is 35 feet long and 25 feet wide.

Your new bed is lovely. And I like the way you laid it out. I would like to try it on our front lawn to make room for more plants. Just have to find things that moose don't like or that die back to the ground each fall.

That garden was started in 2009. Its in a spot where I can see it from my computer. I added a couple of stone paths to make it easier to get into it and weed.
