Priceless (Frank Smith 07), Faces of a Clown (Salter 98), Hotter than July (Kirchoff 02)..... I see some gorgeous pictures (Priceless in particular) but wonder how they do in the garden. Fade much by PM, have trouble opening, exceptionally winter tender for my zone 7a? Any comments are welcome. Space is so limited now that I need to get as much bang for my buck as I can.......Maryl

Maryl, I got Priceless on the LA as a single fan during the fall of 2013. This fall it had at least four fans here in my z:5 garden. I predict that it should also do good for you.

Forgot to mention that it open well and didn't have any significant fading here.

Oh Mike. Just what I wanted to hear. Those edges in your picture gives me the shivers. I was so afraid it wouldn't open well. Appreciate you taking the time to comment. Just about seals the deal for me.........Maryl

Here is Faces Of A Clown. I got it last fall and it has been in a pot since. I wish I could give you more info on how well it does. It did give me a few blooms and the color was rich. I liked it. Hopefully someone else can chime in on how well it does for them.

Thanks Amy. I love "rich" yellows and since you described yours as such it stays on my list. Your picture looks just like what I'm looking for. .......Maryl

I really like FACES OF A CLOWN, except that it doesn't increase for me. Guess that's good if space is an issue (which it definitely is for me) and you never have to divide it. Guess I could try moving it, but it blooms every year and looks good just doesn't increase.... I'm in Kansas, zone 5/6.

I use many of my daylilies in pots so if it only increases moderately that's not necessarily a bad thing. Love your picture. Such a soft creamy yellow. Thank you for posting it.........Maryl
