When the AHS membership letter came yesterday and my husband was trying to read the return address, it was hilarious! He had no idea who it was from and his pronunciation was so terrible, I didn't even know what he was trying to say. But it was like an early Christmas present to me.

I can't believe I waited this long to join AHS, but I guess better late than never and I am excited to log onto the portal for the first time. Sounds like I'm preparing to enter a time warp, doesn't it?

I am going to join next year too, Vickie. I meant to this year but when I looked again it was November.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

Its totally worth it for the daylily journals you get durning the year. I have all of mine, and altho I never save a magazine, I just save articles, I refer to these all the time. They have great articles, wonderful pictures. I hope they dont ever run out of stuff to write about, and I hope they revisit things after a certain amount of years, so the new folks get the info as well

That is one of the main reasons I joined, Pam. I went to a garage sale a few years ago and the lady was getting rid of her old daylily journals so I bought them. Even though they were old, they were just as applicable and I literally spent weeks going through them. Excited to get my first one in the mail!
