If I could have only one Iris -- I *think* Pirate Ahoy would have to be it. Oh -- except for Arthouse. Oh -- and Hollywood Star. Oh -- and....and....and.....

But Pirate Ahoy is magnificent!!!

There might be a reason you haven't been able to find Smoky Whispers, Tom. It hasn't grown or increased very well for me, and has never bloomed. Of course, it might be perfectly fine in a different garden, but it's something to keep in mind.

Electric Candy was a bit slow getting started, but seems to be doing pretty well now. I'll know more by next spring

I checked out Sherbet Bomb on the web site you indicated. It says it's been introduced this year, but it's not in the catalog. Wonder If I can get him to sell me one?

I love Sherbet Bomb too! It says he's not going to 'catalog' it for two more years. Here's the link...and while you are at it scroll down and look at Seedling Number 1 from Tohru Mamiya in Japan! It's stunning!
