I know what you mean, Kayleigh. But the cost reflects the hours of work that go into hybridizing a new introduction. Waiting till the price goes down for one you really want is excruciating!

I got an email response from Rick Tasco and Roger Duncan. They saw my question (...yes they watch this forum regularly...smile and wave hi to them!) They wrote that the pink iris is going to be a 2015 introduction (start saving your money all you 'pink' lovers). They have submitted a name and are waiting for approval. The parentage is Bowled Over X Bon Appetit. Thanks for the info R&R! ...and we would love to hear from you guys directly from time to time! Come join us (officially) here on ATP!

Marilyn that is good news !!! It got a name those guys had a lot of really good looking plants there and could have selected many now I may get my clump of it in Iowa. They have another one that I loved since I first saw it a couple years ago and it was even better this year in there garden as I wrote on the other page I have a thing for Oranges and this one got me excited so my Favorite for the day is there Orange Seedling.
