Nothing worth photos here, but enjoying all of yours.
Jim, As to the rain; most is to the north of us. Sat afternoon into Sun we had .70", but it was squalls that knocked out Dish Network and my phone and Uverse. At the same time my old cell phone gave up the ghost, so I was going a bit crazy. All fixed now. Got nice steady rain all day yesterday, .60", enough to fill 6 (35 gal) "rain barrels" and give all the outdoor orchids a good shower. Temps are down to mid 60s during the day, which is sweater weather for us, and low 50s at night.
Now I have to learn how to use my new android phone...no teens here.

And Restrepia cuprea 'Eichenfels' tries to put on a show! Smiling this one has fairly large blooms and it likes the humid air above the fish tanks.

Beauties, Ursula. Wonder why they chose two "Princess" names on the pretty catt . . ? Rolling my eyes.

Glad to hear the word rain in the same sentence with California at last, Carol. Hurray! I got a new android phone today, too. Luckily my dh is a geek so he's at least got all my info off the old phone, but it took him two days. My old phone was so obsolete, the app for transferring my data wasn't compatible with it.

I know you don't like Andy's, but that is where I got it. It cost a fortune for such a tiny division. $36 + shipping 3 years ago. I finally got it to like my conditions and it is starting to grow.

Ken, this one is rare. It is a mini. The blooms are smaller than a dime and the Pbulbs are about the size of a nickel. If mine were bigger, I would share. Alas, it is like the other Oncidiums...slow to grow.

Also, I want to grow it as a specimen. nodding If I ever see another, I'll snap up and let you and Jim know. nodding

Thanks, Melissa.

I think it is time for a big, floofy Catt. With a wing span of 6.5 inches, I give you Rlc. Dream Trader X Rlc. Phil Anderson. It looks pink in the sun and purple in the shade. Shrug! No fragrance yet but it just opened today.

I emailed Francisco Miranda to ask him to check the next time he travels to Brazil. This is a Brazilian oncidium so maybe he can find some.

We can also check with Ecuagenera.

It's a beauty, Ursula.

We can be thankful for once that the new name is less complicated than the old one, too.
