Anderwood, how did your Kelloggs Breakfast grow for you? I wasn't happy with mine, it was very late to fruit and I think I only got two fruits from each plant.

I'll have to look and see what I might have for trading. Smiling

Anyone looking to swap seeds, please feel free to consider joining my seed swap! Registration just opened and it's a great way to pool a bunch of seeds and not have to pay shipping to/from people over and over again. You just pay once for shipping to the host and once for shipping all of your requested seeds (from a variety of members) back to you. The beta test swap we just did was a lot of fun and I'd love to see all of you join for the upcoming swap! I tip my hat to you.

You can view it (DnD's All Seeds Swap) here: http://garden.org/apps/swap//

(If you leave this thread and later forget where you saw the link, just remember that you can access the seed swap list in the blue/white links on the left side of your screen.)

I hope to see you there, there are already some great seeds available, including some OP and heirloom seeds! Thumbs up

I wasn't impressed with my k breakfast. Not very productive, and they were slow to get going.

They didn't do well for me, either; I love Djena Lee's Golden Girl, which I initially got as a gift pack from Totally Tomatoes!

Paul, I know that @RickCorey had a bunch of tomato seeds listed in the swap and may have quite a few leftover afterward, too. You may want to give him a buzz in a TreeMail at the end of this week when the swap is over to see what he might have left. (Or you can still join the swap if you want, there were a good number of tomatoes listed last I checked.) I have some tomato seeds that I didn't list in the swap (i.e. are available) but I only have a few at the moment since I only like my tomatoes in salsa, ketchup, or baked in my husband's delicious chicken dish. Fresh tomatoes don't really do it for me, oddly. (Although I am expanding my tomato collection so that I can try making salsa and I think having different tomatoes will lend to variety in flavor of the homemade salsa.) Right now I only have Roma, Beefsteak, and maybe a few Cherokee Purple seeds hanging out at the bottom of the seed pack, but if those interest you, I could see what I could put together.

Almost all my tomato seeds are pretty old, and the variety comes from re-traded seeds that might be VERY old.

Hi sbentz,

I just finished trading seeds so I won't be needing any more this year. Although, I probably have some extra seeds I can send if you can't find anyone to trade with. Smiling

You can also post in the Plant and Seed Trading forum where all the seed traders will see it. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and start your new thread: https://garden.org/forums/view...

@Kappucinokiss, this is an ongoing thread...chuckl...originally dated 2014, but renewed every so often. IF you would please, find the little man icon, click on 'My Profile' and share your 'where you ares' with us. I only raise heirlooms but then being from Houston, it changes what seeds are even viable for down in the humidity of this area, and Welcome! to the site. Lots of places and folks to visit Thumbs up
