Jay, you are lucky to be much farther south than we are, and have wildflowers still blooming.
Ours are long gone with the first big freeze, our sumacs just froze and didn't turn color this year. Angry

I went to the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge on Wednesday and found a few more wildflowers in bloom. There are no more large masses of flowers to be found, but I can still find a few giving one last push before they go to sleep.
