Hello, I am Steve and I live in the NW suburbs of Dallas/Ft Worth. As an original Illinoisian I always loved peonies and vowed I would grow them here. I have a large piece of land and am determined to fill it with lilies, peonies, spring bulbs and whaveter I can think of! I am not sure of the total but would guess I have >100 peonies in the ground right now. most of mine are young but I love watching them develop as the years go by. I see many of my DG friends are here!! Smiling Sorry I am late to the party! Thanks for inviting me, Diann!

Hey!

Steve, I didn't know you have 100+ peonies!!! I am so excited about the peonies blooming. Today, it was in the mid 50s and I was out planting and stuff. I notice some leaves sprouting up and there is a tag close by that said Pink Hawaiian Coral, but it's not right next to it. The leaves are dark, kind of purple looking, I wonder if it might be that "Hot Chocolate". Is anyone's peonies peeking up yet?

I will take pictures and post tomorrow. My daughter went to The World of Coca Cola and took my camera with her.
