Making Stepping Stones

At the Whitinger Farm, we are busy making stepping stones for a walkway between our driveway and the house. It's an ambitious project and we've already made dozens of stones. By popular request, here is the tutorial on how we're making them.

Sometime ago, I too had done something similar, having learnt a few tips from DG and other sites I googled at that time. Mine is not a tutorial type like Dave's - which is of course beautifully described - but just wanted to share what I did. The pieces were in different shapes as can be seen. They are excellent material, imported from England for building those huge mansions around 1905 or thereabouts. I have the 6 'stones' I made in my small garden now. What is pictured in the blog was its old location.

These are simply fun projects if one is inclined to do themselves.
