Hello Erwin! How are you? Good to see you here on ATP, I love your website and thank you for your work on Sempervivum!
Yes there seem to be 2 different Santino's (one in the USA and one in Europe) I'm not sure what is going to be done about this...If mine is a NOID then I may just have to name it myself!! From Santino to Colucci how about that! Smiling Since this semp in the USA should have a name, it is a lovely rainbow colored semp in the summer when many others have less color this one has more!
I'm joking about naming it but it would be a good name for this semp! Thumbs up
Be well and thanks for the info!
Cheers I tip my hat to you.

Greg, we will research it and make any changes that are necessary.

Erwin, do you have a written description of this semp? It would be a big help to have the correct description in the database entry for this plant.

Are these correct?

Thanks Dirtdorphins!! I will have enough to share next summer - I shared out much of it this past year.
Lynn I got this plant from Young's and the one on SMG's website is definately different from the one on Young's website, and the one that I have. All the photos in the database are from me I think, so if you want please feel free to remove them...shall I reimburse the acorns that I got for them Thumbs down At any rate, I do think some semp should be called Colucci Hilarious!

Unfortunately this mistaken Santino does have a name already, we just don't know what it is. If you name it it could get confusing. That sure doesn't keep us from loving its unique beauty. Lovey dubby

Greg, Think this mistaken 'Santino' could be 'Bronco'?

It doesn't look like Bronco to me, but this summer it looked nearly identical to Maria Laach, although currently Maria Laach is darker red than my Santino...I think I just have to call it a NOID! and leave it at that! I tip my hat to you.

It was sent to the Sandbox higher up in the posts. Dave must have sent it off when it got off topic.

Erwin, I added your great photos to the database. Hope that was okay.
