Hi, we have been approached by McGlauflin's Perennials to offer our Wonderful World of Peonies Cubit members an opportunity to buy some choice peonies at a discounted price. Please see the instructions below on how to order for this special sale. If you would like to see pictures, bloom time and height information of the peonies please c-mail mcgper1 or e-mail [email protected] directly. Now here are the rules from Warren:

“The cost will be $9.00/3-5 eye root(unless marked differently on the spreadsheet) marked peonies. Each root is placed in a recycled shopping bag with some moistened shavings. I then either tape or tie them closed with the tag inside. Shipping methods is at my discretion.

Shipping will be at mid/end of September via priority mail. Shipping cost would be
$10.95 via medium flat rate priority mail for up to 5 roots. $14.75 for large flat rate priority mail box - with 6 - 10 roots per box.

The spreadsheet for these varieties is listed at:

http://spreadsheets.google.com...

Orders can be placed until the fourth of September. You will see the minimums needed per variety on the spreadsheet. We have to meet these minimums to be able to order that variety. I can order more but has to be in multiples of 10’s.

I can keep track of what people order through the spreadsheet (and want you to check the spreadsheet when you are entered to make sure the order is correct). When you are finished, tell me and I can invoice through Paypal. The people who order would also need to pay the paypal fees associated which I can add in on the invoice. Please do not put your personal information on the thread. I do not feel comfortable posting my paypal address here in an open forum and would not expect anyone else to either. Please send me a cmail with your paypal address as well as your real name so I can match those with Cubits id’s.

The package will come to your paypal account address so please make sure that address and name are correct.

I guarantee these plants are healthy and true to name when I ship. I can't guarantee them once they leave me. The planting and care are all yours once they leave me.

If for any reason a plant becomes unavailable a refund will be issued or you can let me know another choice. If you would like to order any plant from my web store that you do not see below please cmail me. I would be happy to ship these all together to save on Postal Cost.

Now onto the varieties available:

Abalone Pearl
Bric a Brac
Bride's Dream
Charles Burgess
Coral Charm
Coral Fay
Cutie
Early Scout
Fairy Princess

On a personal note, I ordered peonies from Warren last fall from co-op he did on Dave's Garden and I found the peonies he sent were quite nice. :)

Fall is the very best time to plant them. If you get a large enough to flower root, planting them in the Fall will get you the following Spring blossoms to enjoy. They settle in nicely over the winter and get into their natural cycle I find, much easier.
