Fancy nancy - year 3 - Klehm - but got damaged two years ago with a shover - no flowers last year but has come back. One of my favs.

White Cap - year to - 17 buds on a year two plant, amazing - Klehm - probably my favorite Japanese peony or in the top three for sure....along with Top Hat LOL.

President Lincoln - Adelman - year 2 - love this one

My 2nd year Cream Puff - Adelman. Liked this one so much last year i bought another.

Madame de Verneville - year two - no flowers on any of the three plants I bought and all of them have multiple blooms this yeat. Probably the most fragrant peony I have experienced thus far. Adelman.

Cora Stubbs - Klehm - year 1.

OK, one more tonight - Kansas - Klehm, year two. No blooms last year and about five buds this year.

Great pictures! Paree Fru Fru is really unusual. You have the most beautiful peonies. I’d love to see a full garden shot of your new bed.

Hot Chocolate is a really nice color. You got five blooms after just one year? Wow. Does it have a fragrance? I really like White Cap too. Madame de Verneville is the most fragrant? You know how I love those fragrant peonies.

Val, I know about the not having room problem. But somehow I always manage to squeeze in one or 2 more.

First bloom off a sliver of root saved in a pot. Vase is a one oz shot glass so the blossom is really small. You gotta start somewhere.

I do agree about America being a keeper. I grew it years ago when I lived in Yorkshire and would love to find it again.

Here's a noid from my Maine garden. It was a huge plant. Loved it.

I like this one for contrast with the deep reds. Has old fashioned fragrance.

This one has yellow stamens deeply buried under the red petals.
