Thread OP

Hi,
I am curious on how you acquired the Daylily Frances Ciplys? It was named for my mom, who is now deceased. I won the naming rights through a auction that the hybridizer John Kulpa offered. I was shocked when my sister showed me the photo cause I didn't know anyone else had it, and further more had an engraved tag like I do for it!! this made my day! It looks as beautiful in your yard as It does in mine! It was a shame she never saw it in bloom in her yard, only in the picture I showed her when I won it. It bloomed in her yard the day she died. thank you for showing it in your yard. Chrissy

Hello,

Actually that photo was taken in Dan Bachman's garden in Ohio. (Valley of the Daylilies).

I took that photo to show the hybridizer, John Kulpa. John is a good friend of mine, and "Frances Ciplys" is a beautiful daylily.
