This is an interesting plant as it forms its own "greenhouse" out of its own almost translucent leaves.
The temperature inside the plant, where the true flowers grow, is 10 º C higher than the outside of the plant. Some call this the glasshouse plant.
The warmth inside the plant attracts fungus gnats, which pollinate the flowers.
