Seems like everything here is running a little late (except for the weeds!) I still have some asiatic lilies that are blooming, which for me would have been done by now by about 2 weeks. I noticed this morning some hosta's are blooming (I'm not sure if they are on schedule or not)

My heirloom Regal lilies just started blooming - and that is about it! I really need to find some perennials to fill in between the iris and the day lilies !

Late here too. My irises are almost done, except for a few last straglers, and my lilies haven't started yet Blinking Got roses blooming, and the california poppies just kicked in gear last week, and I had 1 lone flower on one of my clems, but the others haven't started yet. They really aren't good to judge by, as they are relatively new though. Hollyhocks not blooming yet either, and my peonies are still putting on seed pods Big Grin

are you going to grow those peonies from seed?? I would really like to find a rose that I could grow. I just can't keep them alive past one year. Blinking

The Peonies started here about a week ago. Really late this year. Had my first daylily a few days ago and another since then. Lots of scapes coming and many in the greenhouse are starting to bloom as they wait for the beds to get My last iris to bloom Jazz Band finished yesterday.

Thank you Sassafrass. I love them too and am Hybridizing now. Started about 4 years ago.

I have to ask are you from the South. Isn't Sassafrass a southern drink. I tasted it once and it was soooo gooood.

Hey guess what?!?!! It is 92 degrees here right now and apparently with the dewpoint it is 111 degrees outside right now!

I think we need to move north to Canada!!!
