I, like most of the rest of the country had a killing frost in November which was very early for us. I was outside yesterday perusing the flower beds and saw a little bit of color that shouldn't have been there. This is a bulbispermum crinum that has never done this before, blooming in Dec. I have checked out the weather through early Feb(how they do that I'll never know) and it shouldn't be below 29 at night at least til that point. Maybe the doom and gloom of "colder than normal" in the south won't come to pass!

Some plants are so confused right now. Several of my daffodils are putting up green leaves, and winter is not remotely over. It's going to be survival of the fittest around here.

We were really cold in November, but our temps have warned up again. We only have 1 night below freezing forecasted in the next 10 days, with daytime temps predicted to be in the 60's over the next few days.

@Cem9165 Annette my paperwhites have buds down in the foliage plus an iris that has a bud. New amaryllis that I planted 3 months ago are sending up scapes. @Seedfork Seed you have crinum though don't you? I'm thinking that would be a good bog plant too.
