Veronica is luscious! I love the color and the form! Drooling I'll have to wait a few years for the price to come down though!

Jimmy G is beautiful...but I'm really liking Icefall from Sutton. It has a slight sweet fragrance and it's much more reasonable priced (at Superstition)...so I'm hoping to get one (their supply is limited, I'm waiting to hear back)!

Here's one of the newly posted photos...Thanks Sue!!

Spartan is very popular at our club sales. One person has it & contributes to the sale. It usually sells out.

I am hoping to add Beowulf [1935], a dark maroon self, by Schreiner this year, but it is in short supply at Argyle.

Another late-comer here...

This seems to be the complete list. (Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me that Schreiners don't do reblooming irises, mostly don't do Space-Agers, and mostly their irises aren't fragrant - or else they don't bother to note if they are. Those are 3 of the things that I like to look for in irises.)

DH loves this one... I had to rescue this last year; no blooms for 2 years now Sad

Thanks, Andrea!

New plant, but I love Space-Agers with spoons

I also may or may not have 'Outrageous Fortune', bought a great many years ago for DH. (I bought it from Bill Maryott but planted it out in a bad place, and either it died or the gophers got it. I subsequently bought a rhizome from someone on eBay, but had it in too much shade. It's been sitting in adequate sun for well over a year now, and has increased, but still no bloom, so I don't know if what I now have is really OF or not.)

Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

Hi Barb. I was off the forum most of the day and didn't see your question.
Glad you were able to figure it out. For those who may be wondering how to see how many of what you have in your plant list - go to the iris database and the search engine. There are several options for searching there. One is by characteristics, etc. Clicking on that gets you to a laundry list of identifying features that you can check off. To see how many Schreiners I have, I put their name in the box marked "hybridizer" then scrolled down all the way to the bottom where there are choices of whose list you want to see. I checked "only mine", and the database collated all the Shreiners in my list and burped up the number of them and what they are. This works best if you are keeping your personal iris list up to date. You can also find out all your early bloomers, or all your blues, or all your plicatas, etc. etc.
A very useful tool.

Thankyou Mr Schreiner I tip my hat to you.
