I am absolutely delighted to have found ATP. Many of you might remember me from DG where I went by my name: ursula. Yes, the one from Chile. Now after many, many years, I have a computer again and spent the previous weeks peeking into the different forums and threads.

I'm so pleased to see (nick)names of much loved former DG members that became good friends of mine posting here. This is the place to be: ATP rocks! Thanks Trish and Dave for not 'abandoning' us.

Big bear hug to all my DG friends and all the new friendships to come,

ursula

Thanks, Sue. I remember you as well. Group hug I think everybody I liked best at the previous site has moved here Smiling

One question: can I post at ATP some of the pictures I posted back then at DG? Do they belong DG now? The reason I am asking is that I no longer go on photo-safari for native flora. Of course, I have some new pictures too.

I added all my pictures here as well, they are still your pictures even if you added them over there. Just don't add them with a DG copyright imprint, I had a few I couldn't find on my computer and my earliest photos had DG copyright on them, I grabbed them from there and just cropped it out before including them here.

Thanks again, Sue.

I have the original pictures - i.e., most (1 of my cameras was stolen when it was quite new).

Ursula, it's so nice that you're here. I remember you very well from DG. Too bad about the loss of your camera, but I'm certainly looking forward to seeing the pictures you still have.

I'm not sure, Ursula, but I think I may have chatted with you back on DG regarding alstroemeria way back when. Smiling Your name sure looks familiar.

Hello Woofie!

It is very likely we talked about Alstroemerias, since they are one of my favourite plants and Chile has over 40 endemic species. I posted many pictures at the database and intend to do the same here as soon as I find out how to access the pictures in my new computer. Now I am in my Lilium phase Sticking tongue out (no, we have no native Liliums here Sad

I also spent a lot of time at the Pets forum.

Love your avatar.

Thank you very much for your warm welcome, Bluespiral.

I can say I felt right 'at home' from my first days on at ATP,

Confirmed: the very best people I met at DG now 'reside' at ATP. Trish and Dave can move wherever they want - I will follow them for their 'magical abilitiy' to concentrate the best people and the best gardeners.

Big hug,

ursula
