Wanda Rezac is still selling Iris? i bought from her a long long long time ago and just found an old tag... would love to order again - anyone know? She was in Sidney NE?

I contacted her last year and this year about the availabilty of certain irises. I received some from her last year.

Called her - and she is still a go! her catalog from 2008 is still up to date and she still sells them for 2 dollars each... I have 70 on my want list - dont have the room to add that many bust she is good... going to wittle down the order and get some for this year!

No problem - she does not have much 05 to now but many 90s 80s 70s and historic... and some early 2000s for 2 bucks... not a bad deal.

I'm not concerned on dates, I love the earlier ones just as much as the later ones.

Same here and for breeding often I have seen people go back to older ones to pull something out... but I know there are those that have the older ones they want and are looking for newer ones only.

Does she have a lot of historics, Mitch?

40s-70s she has a lot, very few before 1940 and lots and lots of 80s and 90s.

Mitch, I think you will find that some on her list are not still available. When I ordered from her in 2010 there were numerous ones that had been destroyed by some extreme weather. I did get some good smaller healthy rhizomes of some I dearly wanted from her at the $2 each price you mentioned. She was a delightful older lady. I am glad she is still tending and sharing.

That is true - I just call ahead and made sure my list she thought was going to be there still - drought for a few years and now flooding make it hard.

I posted her list on here as I knew it a few years back. I am sure she still has a wealth of them to share.

Well she had many of the older iris I needed for a project and I can not believe her, at her age to be doing this all by herself with about 3,000 varietes, she did say she was not buying any new ones as it is starting to get too much for her.

Called and I told her not to worry if there were ones missing that I wanted I starred the ones I could use more of or wanted more of...so it will work out great for her and myself.

Lucky I told her I could wait until as late as she wanted to ship as well.

Katherine, thank you for posting Wanda Rezac's list. The last irises on the list start with "R." Is there another part of the list that did not post?

I think it was edited by admin or something. I pasted the whole thing. I will attempt to do it again and we will see if the same thing occurs.
